Abundance Scriptures

Abundance scriptures can be found throughout the bible. We are to have a life full of abundance, hope, and prosperity.

You do not have, because you do not ask God James 4:2

This is the CONFIDENCE we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask we know that we have what we asked of Him. 1 John 5:14-15

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us Ephesians 3:20

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 (KJV)

Remember the word rich may mean many things. Not just money, but rich in life. Abundance of love, joy, faith, goodness, and hope!


The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hands to. Deuteronomy 28:8

How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. 2 Corinthians 8:2 (NKJ)

You want something but you do not get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want, you quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. James 4:2

And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask anything in my name and I will do it. John 14:13-14

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; but I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest. John 10:10

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask - we know that we have what we ask of Him. 1 John 5:14-15

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them. Mark 11:24

The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. Deuteronomy 28:12

Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all you ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. Proverbs 3:5

Give and it shall be given to you, good measure, pressed down shaken together and running over shall men give into your bosom. And with the same measure you give it shall be given to you. Luke 6:38

God is not mocked; whatsoever a man sows, that is what he will reap. Galations 6:7

And my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phillipians 4:19

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Matthew 13:12 (NKJ)

They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. Psalm 36:8 (NKJ)

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. Exodus 34:6 (NKJ)

For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:44-45 (NKJ)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV)

And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 1:14 (NKJ)

Throughout scripture you will notice how important it is to have faith. As in the above scripture the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith and love. If after reading through these abundance scriptures you are still unsure of where to begin or your faith is just not where you believe it should be, you may want to read this book on faith. It's learning to have a partnership with Jesus Christ. We are to have abundance and prosperity in our life. We are also to prosper and be in health. You may have heard the saying "All good things come from above" Well, above means having faith in Jesus Christ.

More abundance scriptures

But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJ)

* If you allow God to come into your life, he will give you the power for wealth. He established it in a covenant long ago and it is still for today!

Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go. Isaiah 48:17 (KJV)

* Learn to let go and be led. Let God take control of your life and he will teach us how to prosper.

The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22 (NKJ)

* Rich is not just in finances, but in all your life.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. Psalm 35:27

* You see here it gives him pleasure to see us prosper.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8 (KJV)

* If you want more abundance, take the time to learn the word.

Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 5:19 (KJV)
